Description of Position:
This position is for a Senior Systems Engineer to support TURBULENCE (TU) system engineering (SE). The primary role for this position is to provide technical analysis of TU operational scenarios and use cases and the development of TU SE documentation. Specific duties include:

· Working with system architects, system engineers, system developers, testers, and deployers to develop, gather, update, maintain and publish interface specific information used for development, integration, testing, and deployment of new, augmented, or modified projects/systems.
· The candidate will be responsible for working as a member of the TU interface team and the TU interface working group. These activities include developing interface specifications, coordinating and resolving cross project interface issues, and developing interface control documentation.
· The candidate will be responsible for analyzing the interface implications of planning and development documentation for collection, defensive, and infrastructure systems to include but not be limited to: concepts of operations, incremental development plans (i.e. Spin Activity Plans), requirements documents, interface definition documents, and technical briefings.
· The candidate will ensure work performed is in accordance with the appropriate plans and processes governing the TURBULENCE Program. The candidate will also ensure design and development continues and identifies any risks.

Minimum Requirements

· Five years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation, and process execution and evaluation.
· BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other technical discipline.
· The candidate must have demonstrated ability to write system engineering documentation and be able to deliver technical presentation to large audiences.
· The candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and work easily with other people in teams.
· The candidate must be results oriented, self motivated and an effective communicator (oral and written).
· The candidate must have working experience with MS Office products including MS Project.

Preferred Skills
1. Experience in performing tradeoff studies.
2. Experience with testing performed according to SE standards.
3. Knowledge of NSA's SIGINT mission systems.
4. Knowledge of data base design.
5. Knowledge of information presentation mechanisms, packages and conversion tools. 6. Experience in integrating systems into a system of systems.
7. General knowledge of XML and JMS messaging.
8. Experience with Technology Readiness Assessment (TRA)
